(W106) Costieres de Nimes Rouge

Increasingly popular, wines from the Costieres de Nimes are produced from traditionally mediterranean grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan and Cinsault. From the southern part of the Rhone Valley, you can feel the sunshine in this wine. Ruby red in colour with shades of purple, you can detect hints of red fruits, blackberry and violets. Elegant and well-rounded. It can be enjoyed with almost any meal but when young it is the perfect partner for grilled meats and as it matures it goes particularly well with red meats, casseroles and game. Serve at 16-18 degrees.
